Read Aloud Month 2025 is a collaboration between Nal’ibali, the Department of Education, and the National Collaboration Trust which aims to celebrate and promote a culture of reading beyond World Read Aloud Day. This year, the theme for the campaign is “ Creating positive experiences for children through reading and stories.”

About the Author of the Read Aloud Month 2025
 
Baeletsi Tsatsi, a skilled storyteller who crafts engaging stories for entertainment, education, and enlightenment, is the author of our Reaad Aloud Month story 2025 special story, What is That? Her accolades include the J.J Renaux Emerging Storyteller Grant Award in 2018. Baeletsi’s work spans educational initiatives, such as Nal’ibali, and Play Africa’s African Storytelling Project, and she contributes to projects empowering children and addressing literacy disparities.
