USAID-Siyafunda Project

The Siyafunda Community Hubs is an early childhood development project aimed at strengthening and building community support for early learning to ensure that more children in the Msunduzi Municipality, KwaZulu Natal,  start primary school with the skills and knowledge they need to learn and thrive. The project is aimed at upskilling parents, caregivers, ECD practitioners, day mothers, NGOs, and CBO staff with the necessary knowledge to prepare children aged 0-6 years for school.  Funded by USAID, the project is led by  Nal’ibali with the assistance of partners Mikhulu Trust, MacMillan Education, and the Sunshine Centre.
