Nal'ibali aims to spark a love of stories, build language and literacy skills, and promote a lifelong reading culture in homes, schools, and communities across South Africa. Our reading-for-enjoyment campaign encourages the use of home languages to nurture and strengthen a reading culture in children as home language is transparent, easy to learn, and the first language with which children connect, allowing them to socialise and make sense of the world around them.
