Nal’ibali provides a platform to bring many stakeholders together to strengthen existing and collective efforts to change children’s lived experiences of literacy.
We believe that by rolling up our sleeves together, real progress can be made to root reading-for-enjoyment practices into the daily lives of children, their caregivers and communities to ensure meaningful and sustainable literacy development in SA.
We work with the following local, regional and corporate partners to connect children, caregivers and reading clubs to multilingual resources, stories and supplements; offer face-to-face mentoring and training workshops; and conduct research into ways we can turn any setting into a conducive one for literacy learning.
