One day Thandi went to school feeling a bit shy. Her older sister had put braids in her hair. Thandi really liked them but she was worried that the other children would stare at her because she looked different.
First, a boy came up to her and tugged at one of her braids.
‘What are these?’ he asked laughing.
Thandi felt like crying. Just then Zulfah and David ran up to her.
