Multilingual story supplements

In this edition, we explore the many different ways in which stories are told, translated and shared. We also hear from Nal'ibali Literacy Mentors across the country on how they've inspired parents and children with books and reading this holiday season. In addition to some quick advice on how to choose the right books to read and share, we have THREE new stories for you: 'Tselane and the giant' by Joanne Bloch and Jiggs-Snaddon Wood, 'Too short' by Nanziwe Mzuzu and Natalie Hinrichsen (Cambridge University Press), and 'Koketso's party shoes' by Particia de Villiers and Vian Oloefson.

In celebration of International Fairytale Day, this edition is dedicated to the power of fairytales and folktales in every culture.
