Across the country, organisations and individuals are actively promoting and developing reading and writing in their communities. If you know of a reading club, community member, parent, caregiver or organisation working hard to root reading and writing into children’s daily lives, tell us about them using the form below. Story Stars may be featured in Nal’ibali reading-for-enjoyment supplements, newsletters or across our social media platforms to inspire even more people to spread a love for reading and stories in their communities and homes.
Story Stars featured in the Nal’ibali supplement will receive Wimpy meal vouchers. The following terms and conditions apply:
1. Wimpy staff and staff based at PRAESA head office are not eligible to enter.
2. Story Stars are only eligible to be featured once in the Nal’ibali supplement and receive Wimpy meal vouchers only once.
3. Story Stars can receive no more than 30 meal vouchers.
4. Individual story stars, such as authors are allowed to donate their vouchers to reading clubs, programmes, beneficiaries or literacy organisations.
5. Story Stars who receive vouchers cannot redeem these for cash.
6. The Wimpy meal vouchers must be used within three years of issue.
7. Neither Wimpy, Nal’ibali, PRAESA nor Times Media will be responsible for safety of children, who will be the sole responsibility of the reading club, organisation or adult accompanying them to Wimpy outlets.
8. Story Stars will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of transport to and from Wimpy outlets.
